Broward County Health Department encourages all persons to get vaccinated against H1N1 Influenza and reminds parents and guardians to get children, 6 months to 10 years of age, their second dose of the H1N1 vaccine.

H1N1 Influenza vaccine is available for everyone over age 6 months at your healthcare provider, local pharmacies or at the following locations:

To prevent the spread of Influenza and other respiratory illnesses:

· Take the time to get vaccinated against Seasonal and H1N1 Influenza.

· Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash.

· Wash your hands often with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand cleaners.

· Keep your hands away from your face.

· Stay home if you are sick for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone without the use of fever reducing medicine.

· See your healthcare provider if you are sick.

· Take antiviral medicine if recommended.
