The Barnacle Historic State Park

Traditional board games, crafts, a scavenger hunt, and more. Learn to make and fly your own kite. Pack your own picnic lunch or purchase hot dogs, burgers and other treats from The Barnacle Society. Entry is $5 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6 to 12, and free for kids under six. The event features performer, J.D. Danner. A New York girl with Southern roots, Danner has received awards from Fort Hood Army Base, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach and the Disabled American Veterans for her music in support of our troops. No alcohol, please.

Pompano Beach Beach Bash and Fireworks
This all day event will feature a watermelon eating contest, relay races, arts and crafts projects, airbrush and glitter tattoos, bounce houses, food and live entertainment. Featured bands scheduled to perform are 4th Dimension, Slip & the SpinOuts, Rodeo Clowns and Sekond Nature. Don’t miss “What’s the Deal?” game show scheduled to begin after the concerts. Food trucks will also be on site. Don’t forget to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Personal fireworks, glass containers, alcohol and pets are not permitted.
