A campaign ad for Sheriff Gregory Tony is reminding Broward Democratic primary voters of former Sheriff Scott Israel’s ties to Roger Stone.
Driving home the point, the ad hints at a connection between Israel and Trump. It shows a fake picture of a smiling Trump and Israel. The president is giving his familiar thumbs-up sign.
What the mailer does not state, Sheriff Tony was a Republican right up to two days before being appointed by the Governor, who once drug use, immoral behavior and murder were in Tony's past, Governor DeSantis response was I never met the man, in fact, many local police departments would not Hire Tony, as an officer today. Not even the Keystone Kops would hire Gregory Tony to sweep the floors.
