Galvin is running for the open seat in Florida’s 17th Congressional District which covers parts of Broward and Miami-Dade
Counties.

Scott Galvin was elected to North Miami City Council in 1999 and re-elected without opposition in 2003 and 2007. He also served as an aide to U.S. Rep. Carrie Meek from 1993-1999.
