President Trump claims he is going to “Make America Safe Again.”  Yet according to a draft plan of his budget, he’ll actually do the complete opposite.
Published reports show that in order to pay for his multi-billion dollar border wall with Mexico, he’ll make severe cuts to the TSA, FEMA and NOAA, all agencies that South Floridians rely on to keep them safe and secure.
·         Proposed budget cuts to TSA would include grants that local law enforcement use to patrol in and around airports
·         Cuts to FEMA would include money given to states to prepare for natural disasters
·         NOAA would face cuts to research funding and satellite programs that track extreme weather
