PCCNCF will open the Pride Community Center (3131 NW 13th Street, Suite 62, Gainesville) as an emergency shelter starting noon on Saturday September 9th through 8 a.m. Tuesday morning September 12th. We may remain open longer than that as the need arises and as we are able to accommodate. Our open status will be dependent on staffing and the availability of electricity and water. If you know folks from anywhere in Florida that need a temporary shelter during this weather emergency please provide them with our telephone number 352-377-8915 and our e-mail address, pccncf@pccncf.org. We do not have any beds, so folks should plan on bringing their own sleeping bags or bed rolls.
