Rep. Ted Deutch On Trump/Putin Meeting

I am astounded by President Trump’s press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He didn’t hold Putin accountable for invading Ukraine, propping up the murderous Assad in Syria, for interfering in our election, or sowing discord around the world. Instead, he lavished Putin with praise while disparaging the free press, engaging in partisan attacks against Democrats, and trying to delegitimize Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation.
Trump still refuses to believe the work of the American intelligence community, giving Putin the green light to interfere in our democracy again.
The President once said he looked forward to testifying under oath for Mueller. Now is the time. After today, it’s urgent.
