Special Session Canceld untill further notice

The statement from House Speaker Marco Rubio and Senate President Ken Pruitt says "while there has been tremendous progress, there is still work to be done."
"We remain confident that an agreement will be reached and that we will have a fall special session," they wrote.
Just not in two weeks.
The Senate had proposed an across-the-board slash in state agency budgets to trim some $1.1 billion from Florida government's $71 billion fiscal budget, while the House wants to target its cuts.
Gov. Charlie Crist jumped into the fray earlier Wednesday by announcing his office would make its own budget-cutting recommendations possibly later this week.
