Short Survey: The American Jobs Act

As Congress evaluates President Obama’s jobs plan, I am interested in learning what you think. In summary, the American Jobs Act:
  • Cuts taxes for every business that hires a new employee and for companies that hire the long-term unemployed
  • Cuts taxes for companies that hire the long-term unemployed
  • Prevents thousands of additional layoffs of teachers, cops, caregivers, and firefighters through emergency aid to states
  • Creates jobs modernizing 35,000 public schools across America
  • Puts the construction sector back to work by investing in road, railway, and airport projects
  • Establishes an independent bank to attract private capital for infrastructure projects and to reduce the burden on taxpayers
Do you think this plan will boost our economy? Should Congress pass the American Jobs Act?
Let Congressman Ted Deutch know by filling out this quick survey: http://bit.ly/jobsactsurvey
