In the wake of the horrific shooting in Las Vegas, Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-22) will join a group of House lawmakers representing Americans affected by the nationwide epidemic of gun violence to release the Keep Americans Safe Act, legislation to prohibit the transfer, importation, or possession of magazines able to hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

Tomorrow, October 12, at 1:00 p.m., Congressman Deutch will join Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty (CT-05), who represents Newtown, CT, and members of the Nevada Congressional delegation, including Congresswoman Dina Titus (NV-01), Congresswoman Jacky Rosen (NV-03), and Congressman Ruben Kihuen (NV-04) to announce the legislation.
The lawmakers will be joined by a wide array of gun violence prevention advocates representing the voices of millions of Americans demanding action to prevent future gun-related tragedies. Members of law enforcement, advocates for the victims of gun violence and their families, and responsible gun owners alike have announced their support for the legislation.
