The Republicans in the Senate are planning to filibuster a timeline to end the war and block progress any progress towards bringing our troops home. It's outrageous—while they're playing political games in Washington, our troops are dying. We've got to make sure they understand that the American people won't stand for this. Thanks for helping to make that message loud and clear. We'll gather along with other MoveOn members in cities across the country with signs and candles to read Iraq veterans' and military families' stories. This will be an exciting and powerful event.
Message from host: Parking is available behind City Hall and is free after 6pm. Our event will last one hour from 5-6pm to attract the rush our traffic. Bring candles if you can. Also, please remember it is OK to gather in a public place to protest but we cannot sit or leave our things on the Federal Courthouse property. See you there!
