The Death Of PIP Part II

The Politics of PIP

Buzz is hearing there's increasing job pressure mounting on Rep. Ellyn Bogdanoff who is the Broward House Republican tasked with negotiating a solution to the upcoming disappearance of the state's no-fault insurance laws.
A group called Save Pip is raising money to support Bogdanoff's Democratic challenger Chris Chiari. Among those listed as raising money to "Support PIP" are Florida Medical Association, Independent Healthcare Providers, Florida Chiropractic Association, Florida Orthopedic Society, Florida Consumer Action Network, National Center for Policy Analysis and Palm Beach Medical Society.
Gov. Charlie Crist is "very close" to calling a special session to address the Oct. 1 disappearance of the state's no-fault automobile insurance coverage.
