The ACLU of Florida Greater Miami Chapter invites you to join us for our 2017 Law Day Reception on Friday, April 28, at the beautiful Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
Enjoy an open bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and the camaraderie of your fellow civil libertarians as we bestow our C. Clyde Atkins Civil Liberties Award on Charles Elsesser, co-founder of the Community Justice Project.

Working with grassroots organizations, Elsesser has invested his career in advancing civil liberties and racial justice for South Florida's low-income and minority communities. Through tireless advocacy, he has stood with these communities to oppose the demolition of public housing, challenge the selective enforcement of codes, and fight the displacement of residents.
