Lots of family oriented Bee activities including a live demonstration Honeybee Hive a Apiary tour and UFI Garden Field Station tour will follow the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Broward County Parks and Recreation Division opens the Nation's first Educational and Honeybee micro apiary prototype with a Broward Regional Health Planning Council (BRHPC) grant, The Urban Beekeepers, LLC Leadership based on the success of the Urban Farming Institute (UFI) prototype.

The South Florida Beekeepers Association will provide workshops and programs for our community Youths and Adults. An educated public and beekeepers are better for Broward County's health and environment.
