Just after 7 a.m. staff at The Polo Club, located at 5590 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. in Pembroke Park, were preparing to close its doors. The club’s patrons, including 33-year-old Jeff Reveille, were making their way to the parking lot when an unidentified individual fired a weapon at Reveille and fatally wounded him. The shooter fled on foot.
The victim was pronounced dead at Memorial Regional Hospital at 7:40 a.m.
Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit investigators are speaking with individuals present at the club during the shooting, reviewing security video and collecting physical evidence from the scene. It is unclear what prompted the shooting or if the victim and shooter knew each other before the incident.
