On Thursday, Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-22) will participate in a town hall hosted by Indivisible that will focus on the damaging effects of the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision and the subsequent flood of unlimited and undisclosed money into our elections. Congressman Deutch will discuss the importance of getting money out of politics to loosen the grip of special interests on Congress and the way political spending influences every issue important to the American people.
Congressman Deutch is a Vice Chair of the Democracy Reform Task Force within the Democratic Caucus. He is also the lead sponsor of a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United with nearly 100 cosponsors in the U.S. House of Representatives.
